    Man-spreading

A few years ago I flew from Aberdeen ABZ to Frankfurt for work. Once airborne, the man behind stretched out and had his feet well and truely in my foot area which meant I did the 2+ hour flight with my feet all the way forward, it got very uncomfortable after a while. I tried standing on his...

    International Airports- Best and Worst.

Just remembered, Boracay was hands down the worst, from checkin to boarding, it's all about ripping the pax off, HATED IT. Warsaw was a great airport, the Emirates Lounge was fun, tomato juice and Vodka, plenty of it !!

    International Airports- Best and Worst.

For me the worst Airport is Melbourne, dirty, badly laid out, and drab. I HATE every minute in it. The Qantas lounge in both Domestic and especially international are awful. I don't mind Sydney airport and prefer Perth over Mel now Perth has had a bit of a make over.

I'm in the QF Lounge thread

Not in the lounge as such BUT I would like to say how grotty, packed, loud and generally untidy and worn out the Melbourne international business lounge was last month (or is it just me?) I flew from Melbourne to Dubai with QF on the late night flight and spent 20 mins in the lounge before I...

I did ask to see the calibration certificate for the scales at the customer service desk but was fibbed off with some sh%t. I was given the usual line "they were calibrated earlier in the year" to which I said "then you will be able to provide a certificate then" but more sh^t. It's easier...

    Caticlan Airport rip off

Also watch out for baggage touts, they touch your bag for 5 seconds then want payment for handling them. I have traveled to third world countries many times in the last 40 years but sh^t service is still sh^t service.

    Caticlan Airport rip off

Yep, about $50, the money's not the point, the point is that at no time were we informed that we would have to pay another departure tax. We left Manila with a combined bag weight of 19.8kg and we left Caticlan with 25 kg and in that time we bought NOTHING !! I asked when the scales were last...

    Strangest checkin luggage?

I flew fromSydney to London a few years ago and man was carrying a jar of frozen Bull cough. It was stored in liquid nitrogen, as you can imagine, the crew wanted nothing to do with it. It was carried in the over head lockers. We used to bring the rig workers back from a Danish Rig back to...
