If your flight leaves from the domestic terminal no you cannot, however if it leaves from the international terminal the answer is yes

Could be wrong but my understanding is you can only use the F Lounge if you have a Qantas/OW international flight on that day.

If your domestic flight leaves the international terminal you sure can. I did just that yesterday in Sydney.
It takes a bit of looking. The flights are marked (int) on the flight search page. Usually (?always now) JQ flights. I was just looking for someone else. There is one day this week when there at least three leaving Sydney

Do any domestic flights fly from the international terminal ?

That's what I thought but I can't see that actually stated in the blurb about the lounges

Like many things it's all on AFF somewhere. ;)
You need to have photo ID and be very careful not to take gels and liquids. The Jetstar* website takes you through it as part of the booking process

*eeeeeek. I just admitted to flying Jetstar.

No that isn't correct, you just need to be on a QF/OW flight that leaves from that terminal.

You can find plenty of evidence on this site that demonstrates the access available

I can't find the answer on the QF site - if i am flying EK (not on QF number), can i access the Flounge as WP?

I doubt it

Sorry bout the multiple posts. If I could work out how to delete on the phone app I'd run them together :(

Well done all round markis10 :)

Mrs Lime n self did CNS/HKG/CNS last year, she said I'll go Y and spend the difference in HK, so I went J, boarded flight, for some reason I had that 6th sense, turned around and low and behold there she was on other side of cabin opped up to J!.

Now that is funny, can only imagine the smile on Mrs Limewood

Yes you can, WPs only need to be flying QF or EK to have access, unless to/ in NZ/Americas/ Sth Africa, which will change shortly for NZ!

Hi All,

Sorry, similar question, but if my QF domestic flight leaves from the SYD international terminal, I am QF NB but have CX gold can I access the QF International J lounge?

Also is it worth picking a SYD-MEL flight that goes from the international terminal for the Int J lounge or is the QC from Dom terminal as good?

Also is the security screening etc much more inconvinient compared to the domestic terminal?

Thanks,
K.

... Or JQ ?

No, Jetstar is a different airline that is not part of the agreement.

Eligible Skywards Members and Qantas Frequent Flyers as well as travellers in premium cabins will have access to Emirates and Qantas Lounges.

When you fly Jetstar,* you won't be able to access partner, associated^ or oneworld airline lounges.

Good luck picking a domestic flight leaving the international, as a CX Gold you have access to one flight that gives you lounge access, QF19 on Thursdays to Brisbane.

As Cathay Gold (oneworld Sapphire) you will have access to the QF International J lounge (whether or not your flight is international or domestic).
Note that if on a Jetstar domestic/ international flight you theoretically have no lounge access (Jetstar not being a part of oneworld). YMMV.

Security can take a bit longer (especially in a peak time) but is generally not that bad.

Yes you can access the int'l J lounge. I personally would only do this if it was a leisure flight and plenty of spare time to enjoy the lounge. Generally when travelling outbound from my home town (SYD) I spend between 5 and 10 mins in the lounge (at 6:30AM) so I wouldn't do it - however if I was travelling with the family for a weekend away I would consider it.

Thanks. Yes it will be a leisure flight by myself. If there is not much difference between the Int J lounge and QC domestic SYD T3 then I will just go domestic terminal... I have plenty of time so that's not an issue.

Flight will be SYD-MEL prefably QF but looks like there is none on that route that leaves from the Int terminal?
