[h=3]Earn 100 points per diner when you make a booking and dine at a participating restaurant*[/h]Book restaurants in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and cities across Australila with instant confirmation and no booking fees. With over 200,000 restaurant reviews powered by Dimmi, you'll find many rewarding dining experiences here at qantas.com.^ Bon appetit!

I have looked at a handful of restaurants and am unable to fine one that accepts these online bookings..... (even the "featured restaurant's it seems) (mind you, I am only searching in Adelaide!)

Also notice that our national carrier has made a pretty significant typo!

mportant Information

You must be a Qantas Frequent Flyer member to earn and redeem Qantas Points. Qantas Frequent Flyer membership and the earning and redemption of Qantas Points is subject to Qantas Frequent Flyer terms and conditions available at qantas.com/terms. A membership joining fee may apply.

*You must quote your Qantas Frequent Flyer membership number and name (as it appears on your Qantas Frequent Flyer account) when making your reservation via the Restaurants booking service qantas.com/restaurants to be eligible to earn Qantas Points when you dine. Qantas Points will be awarded to the Qantas Frequent Flyer member whose membership number and name (as it appears on their Qantas Frequent Flyer account) was quoted in the reservation. Reservations made under a name that does not identically match the corresponding Qantas Frequent Flyer number provided will not be eligible to receive Qantas Points. Dimmi Limited will award 100 Qantas Points per diner for the number of diners specified in a reservation who dine under the reservation (for example, if the reservation indicates 5 people and 4 people attend, only 400 points will be earned. Alternatively, if the reservation indicates 5 people and 7 people attend, only 500 points will be awarded). Qantas Points earned on reservations made at qantas.com/restaurants may take up to 8 weeks to be credited to the relevant Qantas Frequent Flyer account following the date that Qantas receives notification from the restaurant of dining. Qantas Points cannot be split between members on any single reservation.

Great. I had suggested this in the past that they team up with dimmi. Lots of options on dimmi

on a side note you can also now earn points booking transfers through QF...

I wonder when the bookings will be live, I've also looked at Sydney Restaurants and am unable to find one to book at

looks like someone has hit the "ON" Switch..... you can now make bookings and the times are viewable!

I can't seem to switch my location out of Sydney, who'd have thought ;)

But did find out how much Rockpool is :D

Beudy!

I did the Dimmi things a bit last year as a local I frequent participates - however it has been getting hard for the points to post and I had 6000 'dimmi' points expire over the last few weeks.

I'll see how it goes here - just made a booking.

At least QF points won't expire ... ;)

100 points per person. and if you are going there anyway, you might as well collect them. the same points as speding $66.66 on my AMEX! it would work really well if you are going to book for a large group.

100 whole points gee that is generous :(

Have you ever made a positive comment at all on here in relation to Qantas/QFF? As stated it is 100 per person and I just made a booking for a group of 8. I won't say no to 800 points for free.

Well the old system was 3 points/$ or something like that, with a quickly shrinking pool of restaurants as the cost to offer the points was too much to bear right? This seems much more reasonable both for businesses and as a means to organise parties ;)

The place I do Yum Cha at here in Melbourne is on Dimmi. A group of us going results in a nice chunk of points for nix (and you jump the queue when you book online at this place, else the queues can be lengthy on a Sunday).

Time to eat more Yum Cha (although, it may be a fight if I take people from AFF with me ;)).

Now all we need is a restaurant that will accept Qantas vouchers purchased with a 10x point bonus. :)

Wouldn't mind a couple of dimmis with soy sauce right about now. :p

Might be a good JAN function.

I'm always up for a group Yum Cha. Dibs on the first booking though (It's not in the CBD either). You can have the second booking.

Perhaps we should make it a standing monthly thing? I'll put it up in the social meet threads :)
