I had a quick look in the archives and found a few tips to try and bring up older statements, but I'm looking a lot farther back for missing flights from my files.

Anyone had *any* luck contacting QF for really old statements - I'm in need of statements from 2006. The paper copies I had, have been lost with all my relocating OS. :(

Easy to find my OS flights - Dept of Immigration provided them very easily; it's the internal flights I'm after, as some of the tickets and associated paperwork (that I kept for future reference i.e.: NOW) no longer exist.

H archphoto,
I'm unable to assist with your question, sorry. But I'd be interested to know more about how you obtained the international ones.

I'd also like my flight log to be complete. But alas some are gone forever eg Ansett. But if I can recover the QF ones it would be great. I'm chasing some from when I was a child so I'm not all that hopeful.

Keen to hear what others have done?

Qantas has you entire history available (some may be archived but is recoverable).

Earlier this year, I was able to recover statements from 2002-2004.

They do generally charge for this however.

Wow, this is fascinating. I would love to do that. Any idea roughly how much Qantas charge?

I contacted Red Roo - initially speaking to her in person at the February FT AGM in BNE then followed up by PM.

I do note that the old trick of changing the URL doesn't seem to work any longer.

I wanted my compete flight history with Qantas (domestic + international), emailed them & they rang back saying they could send me a statement for 5000 QFF points or read it out to me over the phone at no cost (other than time). I didn't have that many flights (<50) so had it read out & jotted it down myself. Took 10min and got my entire history (including partner airline flights) back to the early 2000s). This was about 18 months ago so may have changed since then, but was fairly painless.

Mine will be considerably more, so the 5000 will be worth it. Great to hear I can go back farther; might as well get my points worth. :D

I just checked my list and I got flight info as far back as 2004 so imagine it won't be a problem getting flights from 2006 :)

A big thanks to Red Roo for their assistance - had a call from Simon regarding older statements, and I now have 10 years worth of travel on its way. Sadly 10 years is the limit, so only as far back as November 2005, but that does cover the timeframe I was needing (although back to when I joined would have been fantastic!!)

Guess I'd better start saving statements from now on, in case I suddenly realise 15 years down the track I want to review again.

Great news :) How many points did it end up costing you?
