I have all the respect in the world for Tradies, but on "bin" day can you please not park your utes in front of our bins ?
Like this morning (renovations next door) you could have parked just a metre forward and your mate a metre behind 🤦‍♀️

You'd think that if they do that, they're not going to have a beef with you, but with the garbage truck driver?

Unsure what the procedure is for garbage truck drivers if they cannot conventionally access a bin, particularly without damaging property. If they drive by, then I could see malicious pranks arising from this.

Council won't collect if bin not accessible @anat0l and this week is 2 bins, recycling and normal.

So we just moved our bins to other neighbour driveway - and found we had to move their bins too!!
If I see the traders might mention it to them, they are on P plates so possibly don't realise the implications.

We just lodge a missed bin request and they come back within a day or two to empty it.

Council came out to check on my reverse parker but couldn't find them. Meanwhile they continue to park backwards in front of my house 🤷‍♀️

WCMO? Waiting at the platform (in the designated queuing area near one of the doors) for the Metro to pull into Central. Young-ish couple with a not-quite-newborn and pram positions a bit further back. Now, one could make some generalisations based on appearances (I’ll leave that to your imagination), but I opted to set aside any preconceived assumptions. Sure enough, train stops at the platform, doors open and said couple instantly barges into the carriage before anyone can get out, let alone any of us already queued being able to board. Sad thing is, I would have offered for them to go ahead of me. Sadder still is that this is the sort of behaviour they’re going to teach their little girl.

They wouldn’t survive with that attitude in Japan. 😉

It hasn't really cheesed me off, but has made me a tad annoyed. One toll road near Como has no booths, you must be registered and pay by credit card, or have an account.

Had register license plate, had to tell them it was a rental and give them the hire dates, fair enough, don't want to pay others tolls.

Checked account later, 70 euro cents, dare say the cc fee will be more!

WCMO right now? Aramex.

Have been awaiting a delivery of cider from Tassie. Am aware that they tend to use Aramex, but wasn't sure if that was the case this time as I'd not received any info regarding the delivery. Had been about to follow up with the cider producer, but yesterday morning, I received an email advising that my parcel was on board for delivery "today".

Created an account with Aramex so I could get more detailed tracking information. Turns out that more detailed tracking equals nothing more than confirmation that the parcel was being delivered within the next 24 hours (i.e. not strictly "today", and if anything, less detailed information). Anyway, the parcel never arrived yesterday, and there was no notification of a failed delivery. Out doing the grocery shopping today and I receive an email advising delivery has been completed. Great! There was someone at home, so all good.

Eventually get home to discover.... no parcel and no hint of a delivery attempt.

Dispute lodged and proof of delivery requested. Why do I think this is going to be a total PITA to resolve?
