Network F100 VH-NHO will be departing Perth this morning for the final time. The aircraft will be flown directly to HARS in Parkes NSW as QF 6236. This aircraft entered into Australia 18 years ago in 2008 and has been retired from the Network fleet in 2026. It is great to see that a F100 is being preserved in Australia.

The Fokker name alone carries a lot of aviation history, so keeping one in Australia makes sense. Regional fleets relied on types like the F27 and later the F100 for decades. Without aircraft like these a lot of routes simply would not have existed. Good to see that part of aviation not being forgotten.
