Very good! I'd booked a hotel with free cancellation the week before the promo with 6 x. I've cancelled and rebooked for 9 x! I used a $50 voucher for the original booking and this was not refunded, but the same room was $100 cheaper the second time around. Go figure.

3 weeks in the States coming up, just finished converting my existing hotel bookings to QF with the 9 points on offer, should snag around 80k points for a total of $30 more than the original non QF bookings were going to cost me.

Maybe that’s what I need do next time

One of the bookings I previously changed for double points then tried to change for triple points and ran into please call us problems plus no rooms left (16 room place so I’m living with the double points)

Also found the price dropped on several bookings so the cancel and change was effective two ways

As mentioned up thread, we have 4wks in the USA about to start (obviously not cheap) but several thousand cheaper than booking direct! Much to my surprise and contrary to what I’d normally do.

Over 100k points inbound in a few weeks.
