I was just thinking about Qantas and their new advertising, 91 reasons to fly with Qantas, why 91 who came up with that number.


How about we think up nine more, so they an have 100 or what about 91 reasons not to fly with Qantas.

Given that it isn't their only current marketing activity I would say no.

Poor marketing concept. Apart from the obvious (too complex a message) they interchange "reasons" with "changes".

IF you need to change 91 things about your product/services you must have been doing a very bad job in the first place!

It's not that they've made 91 changes, it's just that they are trying to identify 91 positive reasons to fly Qantas.

It's just marketing spin. I'll travel QF if the routes and prices are right, if not then alternatives are there.
