Re: All the SQ J class seems to have disapperaed
Booked a business class redemption through Lifemiles. ADL - SIN on Singapore Airlines and then SIN - ZUR - LHR on Swissair. Got the e-tickets and selected a seat on ADL-SIN sector, but e-ticket number isn't recognized on the Swiss site for seat...
Just booked for the missus to go see her old mum in the UK.
ADL-SIN in Y - 22500 Lifemiles
SIN-ZUR-LHR in J - 77500 Lifemiles.
Is this a good deal? I didn't have any flexibility on the dates, so I just went with it.
Wondered what others thought about the redemption cost.
cheers

Just for those who don't want to pay. John Symond from Aussie just started http://www.creditsavvy.com.au which is free. Seems to use experian, which is one of the US credit watch companies I think.
[edit] BTW, My score with Credit Savvy is about 20 points below Veda...

Thanks for the heads up blackjacknz. I have been trying to get this fixed for a few months, points.com just declines everything I try, even though the credit card companies assure me they are approving it. I got an email this morning saying the have escalated my issue to the risk department for...
Can someone, anyone, who has made a recent purchase of points through Points.com for any airline points, please let me know which cards and what type of billing address they have used for the purchase. I am chasing my tail on this.
thanks
I am still unable to buy points for Alaska, have tried 5 different credit cards all declined, all the card providers say they have approved the purchase but it is being declined by Points.com
This is really pissing me off now....
I contacted Alaska the other day, and they told me that Australian card purchases were allowed again, so it seems like Points.com are screwing up, but they are as thick as two short planks, and it takes them literally days to reply to any email...
Points.com are telling me my credit card is not eligible and to use one for US funds only. Can someone here confirm a recent purchase with an Australian credit card?
Thanks
