Virgin Australia Financially Secure? [Now in Voluntary Administration]

Virgin Australia Financially Secure? [Now in Voluntary Administration]

It’s a big commitment by the Qld Govt and could come back to bite financially and electorally.lf VA restructure and the workforce halves with known and unknown changes,it becomes a very expensive subsidy. If you are going to give away 200m setting a min workforce size seems reasonable.

With govt messaging that travel restrictions are with us for sometime(months) and the reality that once boarders open,Corp travel & reduced economic activity won’t return for some time ,If at all before the end of the next financial year.QF should be able to meet Dom travel needs with the groups...

Virgin Australia Financially Secure? [Now in Voluntary Administration]

Unlikely to happen but I do recall TN&AN operating alternate days on BNE DRWat one time in the 80’s.could be a good way to protect service on routes deemed in the public interest until this mess blows over. That said I’m not holding my breath but strange times
