What was the advantage of booking through expedia? I can't imagine QF ditching you but then the new seats might be subject to a different fare? But my experience with trips to JP is outside of ski season there all much of a muchness. Haneda is more convenient than Narita

Thanks for the heads up. My Finnair flights were showing in my QF bookings but when I got to the airport i asked the CX check in staff to check my QFF on my ticket and nothing was shown! So I suspect there is some sort of glitch there? I have retained the BPs as well. The fares were "I" class

Just a note. As above its saying nothing about assisting in the evacuation. The issue of crew coming and seeking your approval to assist in an emergency came about when VA entered Australia and operated flights with less crew. At the time that mandated the requirement to seek approval. QF...
