Well... it has been opened up and appears more spacious without the internal wall of the business centre... looks very cluttered with seats but prior to the 5:50 flight this morning it was far from full. Nothing much else appears to have changed... buffet in same position including pancake...

Thanks for that . . . as that was my concern as I knew the original number and date stuck. I'm not averse to a phone call or two, particularly when the end result is worthwhile :)

Does anyone have experience with bookings made utilising gift vouchers purchased during the December voucher offer..??? After many years I've received an elusive bonus status credit offer but have purchased quite a few gift vouchers for my own use... if I use these will it qualify..??? Thanks...

My understanding was that they were awaiting a new card design which was expected by end of May... I will post again once I return back home as to the exact wording or as to maybe its arrival whilst I've been away ;-). Otherwise I'm sure a quick phone call will sort it out.

I emailed a scan of my platinum card and latest statement late Feb, and received confirmation of status match several weeks ago, sorry can't give you exact date. Had a few issues with them incorrectly entering my DOB info so was unable to set up online access, but they were great to deal with...

Well done, the mini-cabin on the 777 is a great choice, quiet and in my opinion preferable to the larger cabin. Upon check-in we always request a seat in row 6 if available, giving the advantage of greater legroom and feeling of spaciousness. I have never been able to book these online, only...

I have found that the aircraft cannot be relied upon until almost the last moment. The first time I was hoping for a J flight on the new config, the aircraft was changed four times in the previous few days (one moment it wasn't, then it was, then it wasn't :(), but then it must have changed...

In my experience, the bulkhead room is fine, not as spacious as in some other layouts, but quite OK. Mr BB is much taller than I and found it OK but not brilliant. The interesting thing is that the staggered layout of business is closed off by a curtain that closes diagonally across the aisle...

As far as sitting "together" across the aisle, just take note that the staggered seating means that (for example) row 4A window is most closely adjacent to seat 5E in the middle section.
