I can confirm that this has happened previously in the SYD F Lounge to a table of 4 of us. Short pours, incredibly long times between refills and then a mysterious tray of coffees that when we pointed out we didn't order "perhaps you should have them anyway". I kid you not.

Actually I just checked my account and I had the "we have sent you a new card" message. So I guess I will wait for the card to arrive and then await the 5K points offer before cancelling. Luckily I am not up for another annual fee until October ;)

I haven't got a new card, nor is there any indication on my account or statements that I am getting one. I am ready to cancel my account, wonder if I should wait??

It does. I'm hoping someone can confirm that it's $49 per account and not per card (with supplementary cards)? $49 a year is pretty good value considering the uncapped points, free wine at dinner and free priority pass membership :)
