Staying here the night before we board the Orion and the night we return.Mrsdrron picked it solely from the internet. No reviews on TA etc.Probably because it is expensive-we have a spa suite which is $NZ175 a night. However it is very nice.Tastefully decorated, staff really nice.Rooms well equipped. There is a small gym, internet $5 a day.
Just a short walk to the CBD.Plenty of restaurants nearby. We are enjoying it.So some pics-

Have also enjoyed the Bluestone and breakfast down the road in the morning. Very nice but did not have a spa suite.
Try the Speights brewery tour, the Otago peninsula is a great drive and see NZ fur seals up close + Albatross colony.
Cadbury is a good tour to watch them waste a tonne of choc on the chocolate waterfall:mrgreen:

Sounds great, I would also recommend the penguin colony on the Otago Peninsula - it was one of the highlights of our trip to Dunedin.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

I just wanted to add that I thought this was one of the most tastefully decorated apartment/hotel rooms we have stayed in. Also it was spotlessly clean and very well maintained. Definitely go for a spa room as it is so deep and long - easily fits 2.

The only problem I had was working the washer/dryer - the instruction sheet definitely needs more detail !! :D
