I'm trying to do a booking on QF for SIN-BNE then BNE BKK but it gives me the below message. Is this telling me the QF site cant handle this kind of booking online? Played with dates to no avail.

We are unable to find recommendations for your search. (#7190-NFA)

  • No fares can be found for your selected itinerary. Select new dates and/or destinations and search again.

Jetabroad Multi City can do it too. Run the search, then in the left column tick Qantas and it will show only Qantas / Emirates flights.

Which begs the question -why cant the QF booking engine handle something so straight forward?

If gazzman has to call up the QF call centre and book the itinerary SIN-BNE and then BNE-BKK, I assume the $60 International booking fee is payable? And I assume people can request that this be waived as the QF web site is unable to do the booking?

I thought the QF Booking Engine was bad ... and then I tried the VA one!!

Could not book a simple MEL-DPS-MEL, just timed out. Tried multiple times over a couple of days with both Firefox and IE. In the end just gave up and booked via Expedia.

Won't waste my time over there again (engine, not flights).

Regards,

BD

The booking engine seems to be now showing more than one class when researching flights. For instance flights to PEK are shown with Business Sale and flights to HKG are shown with PE Sale. Finally an improvement....??

Edit: I was using BNE as an origin.
