I'm looking to fly to Singapore via Dubai. If I book QF codeshare on Emirates flights:

  • Do those flights count to the 4 QF flights required in a year?
  • Do you get full QF points and status credits?

Thanks

Yes and yes, but as you mentioned only when booked on a QF flight number.

Singapore via Dubai from Melbourne?? status run? or just have lots of time?

London to Singapore via Dubai actually. A good opportunity to get the 4 flights in the bag for the year :-)

You will also have in very bold text on top of the boarding pass issued by EK "PLATINUM QF".

QFF number will show on the boarding pass & again in bold text at the bottom of your boarding Pass " Emirates Lounge Invite".

Points & SC should only take a few days after flying to post to your account ( well in my case anyway).

Like others have stated its essential to book under the QF flight number .

That was my exact routing over the ANZAC Day long weekend last year (not long after the QF-EK partnership). I flew MEL-DXB (part of a booking to LHR at a later date) then onwards to SIN (on a separate ticket). Unfortunately the QF codeshare on the DXB-SIN sector was much more expensive than the EK flight no so I ended up booking a classic award instead.

Yes to both.

And from my partners recent experience as a QFF WP flying on EK, you'll be treated very well
