Whilst I love my QC15's, I'm looking at getting a set of the in-ear units - QC20.
When I sleep on flights, I sometimes like to turn my head to the side, or even sleep on my side (in J) and the QC15's are hopeless in that case.
I'm thinking in-ear might be the way to go, but was wondering if anyone else has used them?

I found the noise reduction is very good and the QC20's are surprisingly comfortable considering they operate in ear. They are ideal for sleeping on one's side. I will however say that despite the comfort if you are flying to the UK 20 odd hours in your ear is not as comfortable as the over ear Bose devices.

Thanks TonyHancock. It might sound unbelievably decadent, but I'm thinking of taking both sets on my trips - the QC15's to wear until lights out, then the 20's to sleep with.
I'm guessing the 20's will take up a lot less space than the 15's!
That also gives the ears a bit of relief when I change over.

I take my QC3's and QC20's if I'm in long haul J or F, but just the QC20's if in Y. :)

The QC 20's fit inside the QC 15's case. I will take both for a long haul as prefer the big ones for watching movies and the others to sleep with.
I also noted that the 20's re-charge pretty quickly using the USB port.

Ahh BOSE finally come into the re-charge via USB era..I'll have to seriously look into the QC20's now!

Now where is the cheapest country to get QC20's?

I have QC15s and usually use earplugs for sleep, however I might give the 20s a go.

I'm seeing them on ebay for about A$299 - will be in the US at a Bose store in 4 weeks, but might like to have them before then! They list on the Bose Aust site at $399 and the Bose US site at US$299.

Wait for a DJs' (or anyone else) 15% sale, and then claim GST back via TRS?

Too long queue and what's the point when it's a business deduction anyhow

I agree they look like really good headphone. I was looking to get some (or if Qantas goes belly up is on my list of things to quickly burn points with)
The killer for me though is
a) the pricetag,
b) they dont come with an airline adapter (i know you can get them off ebay for like $1 but anyway),
c) from what i understand they dont work as normal headphones when the battery is dead.

They do work as normal headphones when the battery is switched off.
Battery only required for NC
