Need accomodation in Papeete post cruise, nothing over the top but want something nice and reasonable, do they exist in Papeete? If so, can anyone assist with ideas! Thanks in advance....V

I have always found the Sofitel to be ok in Papeete. It's nothing like the standards you will get on the other islands but it's fine and it's handy to the airport for early departures.

If you're not on an early morning flight then you might find Moorea nicer to stay on than Papeete. But you will have to allow time for the ferry ride back to Papeete in order to get to the airport, or else fly back from Moorea, which is easy but more expensive than the ferry.
