I will be flying SYD-AKL in F on an Emirates A380 in a few months time. Just wondering what people would recommend as a good seat to choose.

Thanks for your help in advance!

If you are by yourself then I suggest any window seat and if accompanied then any centre pair of seats.

I have tried 1K and 3A with no discernible difference IMHO.

Like straitman said it depends if you're flying solo or with a partner.

I've only ever travelled solo on EK in F and recommend 3A or 3K (if travelling solo).

1A/K I find you tend to get a bit of noise from the FA's walking on the lino floors, but then again nothing a good set of headphones won't fix.

Have fun with all of the wood décor, it becomes overpowering even on a 3 hr flight.

Thanks for the advice guys - yeah, I'm travelling by myself. I'll try for 3A.

I have flown a couple of times by myself. I have had 1A, 4A & 5A. to me there is no difference and I wasn't aware of any extra noise from the hosties. Maybe a factor on a long flight to Dubai but on a short 3 hour across the ditch it shouldn't make too much of a problem. 1A in my mind has been my choice (have it booked again for July).

Enjoy
