Once EK allows QF SC earning that becomes very attractive too. Especially for a cheap F experience!

I'm pretty sure that QF SC earning will only happen on a QF flight number. If that is available my bet is that it will be anything but cheap!

If flying from HKG, don't forget that you can use the in-town check-in from either Kowloon or Hong Kong Island (Central). Handy if carrying the J weight allowance.

Check in the night before and it makes taking the train (and even hotel check out) so much easier!

Qantas Frequent Flyers can earn points on all Emirates flights. Emirates Skywards members can earn points on Qantas international flights and domestic sectors of an international trip.

I hope you're right, but points and SCs are not the same thing.

Indeed you are correct, but with the alliance being so extensive I would bet on them being included rather than not.

However, it's all speculation and educated guess work for now.

If the mention is points, with no reference to SC's, my educated guess is that the earning will be points only.

Just like the current non-OW codeshare partners QF have currently.
