I applied for a Amex Velocity Gold 2 days ago and at the end of the application it said I was approved...

I havnt had a confirmation since then...

Can anyone tell me if this is normal and if so what happens next and how long does it take? Im assuming they need documents.. what will they want so I can ensure i have it ready.

When I applied for my Platinum Edge in September, it said I was approved online, then I got the card a few days later.

No request for any documents.

I hope you blokes veganft and OP applied via the referral process to receive extra bonus points? Vegan, you would have received 15k bonus points via referral instead of 10k points.
