That was probably due to the upgraded back-end we installed on Monday on our server. Once the App is re-started, it connects properly to the server. BTW: I think the upgraded back-end is what is causing the problem with the Apple Apps.
I don't have an iphone, I use the Android app, but on all my various Android apps, the AFF app has crashed as it started, some message about "versions not matching", but if i restarted the app it worked fine from then on.
