First lounge - amazing discovery

This probably isn't news to some of your veterans but I was just chatting with one of the lovely staff in Sydney's First lounge and I was waxing lyrical about how much I miss the pav (which isn't on the current summer menu). To which she casually replied, "oh I'd be happy to make one up for you now."

Yeah they can do amazing things at times. It is a shame that the Domestic lounges are getting such a bad rap at the moment (same caterer AFAIK) and likewise the rest of Qantas is so inconsistent.

I think that there might be a domestic lounge, with this level of service, where a cook might be able to whip something up for you (if you ask)... perhaps it's just a domestic lounge that you don't have access to?

I thought there was a 'deconstructed' one on the menu at present? It's not on the pre-11:30am menu though?

I think it was on the previous (Spring) menu. I forgot to take a pic of the current menu but it has a cheese plate, ice-creams and berry trifle listed (trifle was yummy too!)

I never get the lunch/dinner menu because I'm always flying to Asia and so have to leave pre 11.30!
