I've heard rumours of Deathstar Dash-8s...
You have two options if you want to go via Asia:
1. QF to SIN/BKK, then EK to DXB and Europe
2. QF to SIN/BKK/HKG, then AY to Europe via HEL (they codeshare with QF I believe), or BA to Europe via LHR, or CX from HKG (you may need to use the multi-city engine on the website to book this, or call QF, or use a travel agent)
You have many options assuming that you don't let the tail wag the dog solely to get QFF points. SQ and Virgin Atlantic have become my preferreds.
As for the multi-city engine on the website to book this, if you search for a stop in Hong Kong and then on to London, the QF site will give you an error message and say something along the lines of they are unable to find flights from the partners they search. Given that until not that long ago they flew HKG-LHR direct on QF metal, not really a great way to do business.
Have the DJ flights to PBO started as yet?

Sadly QF are not code sharing on EK on the HKG-DXB route. You can quite easily price through via SIN and BKK though and remain on QF flight numbers. As I mentioned earlier it is quite feasible and easy to do something like MEL-SIN (QF) , stopover, SIN-DXB (EK) DXB-LHR (QF). Then LHR-MEL (qf). It does seem possible on the website too.
Once the new 787's with JQ are in place on the SYD/HNL/SYD run I recon the old 767 clunkers Q fly are gone. Should be an announcement by JQ this Friday.
You can fly to asia for a stop then on qf codeshare ek metal to dubai then dubai to london on qantas. You may need an agent to put it together. Ive no idea if the website allows it.

SIN is possible on the multi-booking site, but HKG is not.
Again, I do not want a one-stop option from SIN or HKG to LHR when there are plenty of non-stop options. More than happy to book elsewhere and credit to other FF programs rather than do back-flips to try and stay on a purely QF booking via wherever QF is trying to force me through.
DJ Flights, well if you are referring to Virgin, Yes they have, ie VA1017, PER-PBO & VA1016, PBO-PER, both are Fokker 100 metal...

Quite a few on here have said that the QF SYD-HNL-SYD flights are quite profitable.... But then again that would make sense for QF to cut that route...............
