Now on sign up I selected QFF for points and have been receiving them since Feb 2013.
Today I got an email saying I have MR points 135??????
Cannot remember setting up password to have this account?
Can you transfer MR points to QFF program?
What do you get MR points for?
Can you get both at the same time?

Yeah same here.... 307 points for me... no idea where they came from I just ignored it.

SWMBO called about it on her card. She was told it is a hoax email.

I'm stunned by this. Seems well targets with both my correct name and email address. So it isnt just a phishing scam. Either Macquarie has had their database compromised or that was just an excuse for yet another stuff. Either way, not good!

I don't actually have this card, its my wife. But i set the contact email to be me so I get the bills. The email is Addressed "Mrs LastName" so either they are lying or they have been compromised.

PS I'm also interested to know if anyone has got points using this card for bpay?

I am out of this card.

Had enough of its flavour

Cut it up already

Cheers

Some one else follow it up and tell me what the deal is please ;)

Well I finally decided to call up to see what those mystery points were. Apparently I have even more now! I'm assured (and know) that I'm still earning QFF points too. The lady will need two business days t o find out what's going on. I'll see what they say when they get back to me. However, if they don't wish to let me use those Macquarie points too or transfer them to QFF I'll immediately cancel the card.

Interesting though that when SWMBO called about her card a few weeks ago, they said that email was spam and not from them. No mention of that this time!

Real professional outfit this bunch.

seems as a small business owner....I didn't meet the criteria for a Platinum but did 'qualify' for a Gold card with $2k limit and $99 first year fee.

Conditions of the card exclude the earning of QFF points. I'm not even going to bother activating the card.

Sad :(

I used the card for 6 months, and think the (original) offer was a little overstated. Haven't used it for several months now.
Won't be renewing - I still can't get access to internet banking.
From my experience the JQ was far better.

I just got a booklet in the mail about MAc reward points....I have 2129 given to me?
Online rewards says $10 voucher for 1500 ponts but the booklet says min is Points and pay 2000 and $5??????

I convert to Qantas points!

Anyone?

I got a similar booklet but only have just over 1000 points. Don't understand how it works, I get Qantas points.

me too - some type of bonus I assume, even thought qantas rewards, some purchases get Mac rewards, bunnings voucher for free anyway so happy :)

I too received this. Even more interesting given I cancelled the card a few months ago. Let's see if I can still redeem those points though. I love free stuff :)

Well got the Citi Signature card...so come December 2013....will ring if not free another year(Anniversary is Feb I think) it will be Binned.
Will use family(this maybe torture) to pay insurances and future ATO on their QANTAS EDR card....

I recently cancelled my card. I asked for a fee waiver for next year, they said no, however, they would give 750 QF points. I said no thanks.
