I spoke to HR, they're going to pay out my remaining leave. Our head of department was bending the rules to try and reduce our department's leave liability. Apparently our department alone has tens of millions worth of leave on the books. They're "strongly encouraging" people to use it, and nobody is really questioning it.

Thanks for the ideas though. Might go in the new year instead

And yes, I've been to Ningaloo. Several times. I'm a very active scuba diver and underwater photographer
