I am looking at booking SQ SIN-FRA-xx early/mid next year. The xx denotes an end point I may not reach. ;)

At the moment there is one J seat available, however I need two. So, what am I best to do?

What is the likelyhood of another J seat being released if I book the only one available? I am happy to buy a Y seat and cancel later if another J comes up.

From EF, the flight is showing: R4 F4 P4 A1 Z4 C4 J4 D2 S9 Y9 B9 E9 M9 H9 W9 Q9 N0 U0 G0 L0 K0

Which fare buckets do the LM seats come from as EF = U0 but the fare is definately available?

Can't answer your question directly, but I don't think SQ uses the "U" fare bucket for J reward seats like QF does.

A quick Google search brought up a SQ specific forum post that says the Award fare buckets are X, I and O for Saver awards in economy, business and first, M, D and A for Standard awards and Y, C and F (as you would expect) for Full Fare awards.

No idea which bucket that Avianca books in to but one would presume I. Shame that EF doesn't seem to show X, I or O.
