Hi all,
I am looking at heading to Hong Kong on flights booked on the Virgin website that are operated by SQ (not Silk air) and of course I am keen to earn status points.
The fares I am looking at are economy fares called "flexi" and when I progress as far as I can with the booking without paying it lists the fare type as LLRASQ35.
On the Va website it tells me the following fare classes earn me SC's
: Singapore Airlines*: S, Y, B, E, M, H, W, U, L, K
Does anyone know if will earn SC's on the flights?
Out of curiosity I found the same flights on the SQ website and not only are they $300 cheaper for the rounds trips, they are clearly labelled W or M class fares. So second question, if I book those flights on the SQ site and enter my Velocity number will I earn SC's or do I have to be on a VA numbered flight?
Cheers
Dave (confused Dave actually)
