Gone to the dogs

I'd be asking for the cat to be placed well away from me (overhead lockers sounds fine) as I'm allergic to their hair/saliva

Now is probably not the time to mention that it may also be their cough gland secretions you are allergic to.

We have been on a flights with pet dogs in the cabin. Went from MIA-FRA around 2002 & then in 2010 ORD-JFK. The Chicago flight was JetBlue & the small dog sat in a shopping bag under the feet of the owner. We later saw the owner waiting at bag collection-obviously took no longer to get through the airport than us
