I am working on taking a friend to Europe next year and will use AA miles to get home. I have the option of EK or QF F on an A380. Notwithstanding that flying on EK (even with a QF codeshare) may preclude BA Galleries F lounge access, which would you choose?

Can't use AA miles for EK. So you are limited to QF. Or use QF points for EK

Really? I've never come across it! What date? I Don't think you can go wrong with either...

Shower vs Comtes..
Nothing showing now. I wonder if that was a blip that has since been corrected. I may therefore have a choice between QF and QF.

Still, worth the comparison should I have enough QF points to get in EK F one day.

I had to cancel our QF first trip....

We now going EK, SWMBO going F and I'll be going J.

I'll ask her How F is haha.

I Don't think you can go wrong either way. I would be interested in BA, but their fuel charges are crazy...

You also go MH and CX, F to choose from

haven't flown QF F but have flown EK A380 F and you just can't beat the showers on board plus the privacy with the doors is nice...

Next year Qatar QR will be OneWorld. They have First with style

Just flew EK first on both 777 and 380. I would choose EK over QF. Hands down. Particularly if you are travelling with someone.

777 product virtually the same as 380, just no shower.

Agree with you re EK F

My wife and I fly to Europe earlier in the year in F using both QF and EK, and both thought QF was better over all product that suited us better. Saying that we would fly in F with either of them again, but would take QF over EK if there was the option.

Anything reason in particular?

The seating is certainly better for when 2 are travelling.

EK wins hands down. There really is no competition.
Especially if you are travelling with someone, you can sit, eat, drink, sleep and shower together.

I would compare EK J to QF F.

That is either quite scathing of QF, or that EK is in another realm.

FWIW, my friend and I are just friends - there will be no showering together.

I thought I saw a picture that said only 1 person in the shower at a time!!!!
