Not sure if anyone else has noticed but flight times after DST starts seem to have reduced by around one hour when booking a site flight that originates in NSW/VIC and arrives in QLD. Must be the new announcement after the election.

Woops?

Happens every year, it's great on the way up but seems to take forever on the return leg

Woops?

This happens every year.

Ive pointed it out to Qantas in the past but they are "fully aware of daylight saving".

They clearly don't care that the published flying time is inaccurate.

And this won't be an issue when Queensland introduces daylight saving in the near future....

It's ok I've spoken to the cows who have assured me that they dont mind a sleep in and that they don't mind stating up a bit later.

Welcome to Queensland where the local time is 1974.

Before anyone asks I am fully authorised to speak on this subject matter as ill be at Ekka for the next 10 days :)
