Hi Guys,

Being from Newcastle, there's sometimes a need for the good old Brindabella flight. Now that there's some more codeshare in place, I wanted to understand the ability to earn status credits and points. I took a NTL-CBR return flight earlier in the year, booked on fares I thought would earn Status Credits but lucked out. I flew on what I thought were the same fares last year and I did earn SC's.

I've also got a CNS-SYD-NTL, with a final leg of Brindabella (All QF Flight Numbers) and I certainly don't want to miss out on the SC's.

Has anyone got experience here? What's the standard rules to earn points on Brindabella?

Cheer,
Sob

Thanks Fiona, I nearly PM'd you instead on this one!

It looks like I'm in "S" for that leg of the booking - Fingers crossed!

Contractor I had from NTL while I was in CBR commuted weekly between the two. Lots of points and no status. After a call to Qantas they let him keep his gold as they could see they had no service to compete on the route.

That's great news, I have family in CBR and sometimes fly, sometimes drive.
Hopefully the codeshares might be expanded at some point to include this.
