I am flying from Brisbane to Mumbai in Business class soon via Hong Kong. My flight from Brisbane to Hong has QF 97 and my onward flight is CX685.
I am also a Qantas club member. Which lounge should I use in Hong Kong ?
As a Qantas club member, you have no access to any lounges in HK as you are not flying with QF.
However, as you are flying in Business with CX, you will have access to their Lounges in Hong Kong - of which there are plenty - The Wing, The Pier and the Cabin.
If you are wanting to actually exit HKG, you can also access The Arrivals lounge as you are flying in Business. I did CX 685 and the return last month, wrote a short trip report about it here: http://www.australianfrequentflyer....s-and-trip-photos/hkg-bom-hkg-in-j-51492.html

You can also access the CX Arrivals lounge if your transit is more than 4 hours.
Any of the CX lounges in HKG are pretty hard to fault IMHO.
Thanks to the link SeatBackForward, my flight times are the same as yours, so very helpful. Silly me , I automatically assumed I would be able to go in the Qantas Lounges as I am on a round-the-world ticket bought through them, will have to look at the rest of my flights now, the only other Qantas flight is from Sydney to Brisbane , right at the end of the trip. Transit time in Hong Kong is only 2.5 hours. I am planning on staying at JW Marriott in Juhu.
Re queues at the airport in India, I do remember booking an executive aiport transfer once to Delhi airport, from a hotel there. The driver took us into the airport, straight past security, and straight to the front of every queue, much to the disgust of other European passengers in the queues, which looked as if they would take hours. The Indian passengers didnt seem to mind at all. I felt embarassed but went with the flow, had no choice.
A\re you sure? I thought the Arrivals was only for J or OW Emerald passengars? a 4hr transit in HKG isn't worth leaving the airport for anyhow, as you say, the HKG lounges are a pretty good way of losing 4hrs.

Sorry, I should have been clearer - you are quite correct: the CX Arrivals lounge is available to arriving CX/KA J & F pax plus MP Gold, Diamond and OWE (on CX), not general CX pax. I didn't reiterate this because the OP is on a CX J ticket.
But yes, transiting pax (as per the above qualifications) can use the Arrival lounge if their transit is 4 hours or more.

I was going to use it earlier this month but my incoming was delayed, so transit time ended up less than 4 hours.
In the event, I didn't even look for it - just had a shower at the QF lounge and whiled away the time exploring the various areas of The Wing.
Excellent food, wine, champers and service. I highly recommend the Noodle Bar and the food in the other areas was very good as well.
I'll explore (in more depth) one of the other CX lounges on the way back in August, including the Arrival if I can change one of my flights.![]()
Yes, figured Arrivals wasn't very big from the website and a TR I'd read.I wouldn't consider the Arrivals as suitable "exploring" territory. It isn't that big, and certainly wouldn't be very good for whiling away hours. I used it to shower, and leave my bags with the left luggage while I headed into Hong Kong for the day.
Question,I will be flying CX Dubai to HK with a 9 hour wait until QF flight to Aus, will I be able to leave the airport & spend the day in Hong Kong.
I will be meeting my travel companion in Hong Kong airport, will she be able to buy a pass to enter the Cathay Pacific Lounge as I wont be able to take a guest in there? My friend will be travelling on the same flight.
