just received a second email from qf... (the last being last month?) it clearly says 'ALL CLASSES ON SALE... QANTAS GLOBAL SALE'

so I open the email and the highest class is international business.

to me 'all classes' means first class as well... or am I just not getting something subtle in the title?

The Global Sale includes LAX return fares in F for $9,999 when I look at the QF website.

That's actually quite cheap for F. I have seen return fares for $17,000 on that route.

so the email alert doesn't list every single route and every single class?
outrageous.
website lists LAX and HKG on sale for F.

Time to get off the high horse?

Not that I blame you for jumping to conclusions at first glance!

thanks.

unfortunately the email states the highest class available in the sale is business. you would think if first was on sale they'd list it. otherwise I wouldn't bother checking the website.

excert for email:

Sale fares are valid for various departure dates in Economy, Premium Economy or Business as specified. International Business class fares are valid for bookings completed at least 14 days prior to your departure dates. See qantas.com for details.
