not sure if it's a pricing mistake but asiatravel.com have the standard room at the harris hotel sunset rd for IDR 119,047.62 ie ~$18 a night

Gets pretty good reviews on most web sites.

I booked late july into august and there seemed to be most dates before and after available.

Might help someone thinking of escaping to warmer climes to save some $$$ on their accommodation.

Yep +1 for me - have used them dozens of times over last 10 years - they often have had some exceptionally good rates in SIN too - I could regularly find cheaper rates and better availability at Asiatravel than the Singapore Stopover rates.
 
asiatravel dot com is also excellent for Hong Kong and Philippines. I would not use it for Australia or Europe, though.
