New F and new J launch on 9 July

Just hope SQ think about the 'cough comfort factor' this time around. As big as SQ F seats and as big as the J 'diamond' seats on 380 / 77W are - the are terribly hard to 'sit' on - IMHO.
 
Totally agree.

SQ F & J seats might have the biggest real estate in the sky but they are a pain to sit in.

Bigger is not always best.

Hope they have learnt from their mistakes.....
 
OK here is a question for all of those who consider themselves to be 'experts' on all matters SQ:

Q: Apart from hard seats in Standard F – what is the one singular aspect of SQ F that is SO SO SO disappointing?
 
My tip for their new J is that is will be similar to CX - still 1-2-1 but much narrower seats (they're currently far wider than they need to be) - fully flat but angled towards the centre or the window like CX.
 
I like the current J seats and don't find them uncomfortable, love folding it down and laying down and lolling around with a glass of something nice, just wish I was on them for the FCO - SIN leg of our flights in Aug/Sep, its the old config 200's unless the upgrade schedule changes before I fly.

Singapore Girl Also Known As Flight Attendants – this is the other failing of SQ F – they send all the young stunners down middle and rear end – J and Y – F get to experience the ‘mature experienced female cabin crew’.

After only four flights on Korean Airlines I can categorically opine that Korean Airlines Girls Are WAY Hotter than SQ's talent pool. 20 something's, flawless complexion, full of smiles, willingness to help and totally gorgeous. I felt as if I was on the set of a K-pop dance clip :)

Could we set up some sort of poll as to what we think the new J seats will be like to see who guesses correctly come 9 July?

I disagree with this 'cough'essment esp. when it comes to the F seats.

Unlike the J seats, F leather is far more supple (on A380).

True, the F seats on 777 seem less supple but not as 'hard' as their J seats IMHO.

You may have unwittingly lumped F / J together or you just have a bad 'cough'essment day :D

I cannot wait to sample the new revised Suites "... All eyes will be on Singapore Airlines' ultra-luxe first class suites...."
 
I look forward to being able to book the *old* J/F via *A partners... ;)
