Hi all

I need some help i need 250sc by the end of july. I have spent almost a full day searching for the best way to do this and i am so confused with the best/cheapest way to go. I fly into Adelaide on the 10th of July at 10am heading home from work so would prefer to start from here. I need to end up back in melb the following day by 18:00hrs. i have 170,000ffp but will use cash+points

Or i can start in melb that day also as i have a red-e ticket booked for ADL-Melb on the 10th also.

Have you thought about a night in CBR? Looking at JASA's
ADL-xSYD-CBR (100 SC) 10th July
CBR-xSYD-OOL (80 SC) 11 July
OOL-xSYD-MEL (80 SC) = 260 SC for 64k + $415.56 or 113,190

I'm not sure what you'd then do with the red-e though.

You have a number of options for this:

1. 11/7 ADL/BNE/TSV J then 12/7 TSV/BNE/MEL J 240 SC for 107,814 points or 60,000 points + $438.09

2. 11/7 ADL/BNE/TSV J then 12/7 TSV/BNE/ADL J 240 SC for 88,720 points or 48,000 points + $362.84

Both are J Any Seat Awards.

That could be a good option and then using the red-e that the OP already has for ADL-MEL.

Sorry, I just realised I got the dates wrong. The above still works for 10/7 returning on 11/7.
