Landed in HK with no luggage

I just struggle to see how it would get reception in the luggage bowels of an airport
(I guess at least it could determine which airport it is at, but that probably doesn't help much)

It would have no issues getting reception when being unloaded and loaded from the plane, so it does not need reception when in the bowels of the airport, which probably has coverage anyway given most airports put in leaky coax as passengers often need coverage in said bowels !

Finally the bag and I are united after a separation of 48hrs. They found a bag with matching description in SIN but without any tags. I had on two personal ID tags one on each handle plus the airline tag. Just can't imagine how all three tags were removed or ripped off. Brand new bag with scratches all round. Had to provide TSA code to prove myself, the man goes away and comes back .... drum roll .... "Yes, Mr wazza that is correct the bag will be delivered to you asap". So happy now and a thank you to all.

Glad to see it was sorted in the end. Did you go down the path of a TI Claim? If so how helpful were they (and who provided your TI)?

TI with Medibank. Was told that it's 375 for the first 24 hours and another 375 after 72 hours. Had no specified items. Only managed to spend 150 on clothing. Damn ... should have spent more. And must provide receipts and documentation.
