Best Airline FF to Send MR Points to for Long Haul J Redemptions

I have a stack of MR points and want to do travel to London (ex Melbourne). Which is the most value driven airline loyalty program to transfer my MR to. In saying that I would also be interested in what thoughts people have with programs having available J flights.

Welcome to the forum sherratt. You will never achieve real satisfaction trying to spend so many points and I think you will lie awake at night worrying about it. My suggestion would be to send 1/3 of the total number of MR you have accumulated to me. I will take on the burden of all the worry that goes with this sort of responsibility and you will sleep better.

Go MH. Need to ring up to get your FF number for that program linked to your MR account and then you can transfer online. For whatever reason you can't set it up online.

Well if I must be serious...Beta4me is right and MH certainly appear to represent the better value return to Europe at about 51k points each way. My preference until now has been SQ but am seriously considering the MH offering subject to confirming if seat converts to lie-flat on the intended route.
