Since I've got more than a few hours to kill at SYD tomorrow, and it doesn't look like QF are coming to the party with posting my double status credits that would up me to platinum for F lounge, I was thinking of doing a bit of a tour of the lounges. There' doesn't seem to be much on here about the Sydney MH lounge, and I don't expect to be blown away by it, but I'm wondering if I should head over and report back for the wider communities benefit?

I don't know if MH have a lounge in SYD but why would you bother?

As a QF Gold you should be entitled to access the QF Business Lounge if flying a Oneworld Airline.

I love a mini-tour :)
Never been to the MH lounge and knowledge is power.

According to the Sydney Airport website they do. But I think after a while I'll be come bored of the QF J lounge.

I'll convince the other half that she wants to go and I'll take some pics and post!

I've let the team down a bit I'm sorry to say. We went to the MH lounge and at the time it wasn't open. The person at the lounge who I'm not sure if the were a lounge attendant or someone else involved with MH didn't seem to interested in letting non MH pax in. I was going to go back a bit later on but let time get away from me in the QF lounge. By the time I left to head over the MH flight was on final call so I didn't bother as they were most likely shutting up shop.

The key points I got if anyone else is interested is that it open about 3 before the flight departs and you might encounter some people who aren't interested in honouring the oneworld lounge policy.
