It is sad to see the decent sized (4 burner) jets ceasing to head into SEA. Is this a fatal error on QF's part or clever repositioning of the assets to suit a lucrative market.

I have never flown on an eeeek!380 to SIN, but I know on the beautiful 744 services, there were never spare seats in J and when in Y, it was packed like sardines...

Poor judgment? I guess only time will tell.

do you mean a 330 to SIN, rather than a 380?

at the moment I'm thinking fatal error - comparing HKG-SYD on a QF 330 vs a QF 380 the 330 is rubbish, operating the 380 keeps QF up with CX (updated 330) and SQ's (widebody/updated) product

Yeah, but how many of them got off at SIN and how many continued onwards to LHR?

There is always QF51/52 which is remaining a 744 by the looks of things, although its interesting to see the current BNE-SIN sale pricing up at a level that I have not seen before outside of Christmas, its dearer than LAX.
