HI all

I need to find best way (least stops and check bags in once) in economy for:
SYD to USM on the 1st of June ( can leave late on the 31st of May)
USM to NRT on the 8th of June
NRT to SYD on the 15th of June (need to be back at work on Monday 17th)

Company's affiliated with Virgin would be a bonus but depending on price would be happy to fly with whoever.

Thanks in Advance

Try SQ for SYD-USM//NRT-SYD (circa $1100) then a separate one way USM-NRT for circa $1000, or $600 if you're happy to fly with one of the Chinese carriers.

Would you consider TG SYD-Bkk-NRT and vice versa, add a return bkk-usm-bkk with either TG or Bankok airways? Prices at $1450 + $500-600 or thereabouts.

There would be the option of looking at pricing also SYD-usm-bkk-SYD with the bkk-NRT-bkk in the middle (may/may not work out cheaper than the option above).

Possible itinerary (no prices) weighted toward earning with VA:

VA(SQ) 5514
SYD 31/05/13 5:50 PM
SIN 01/06/13 12:10 AM

VA(MI)5725
SIN 01/06/13 8:10 AM
USM 01/06/13 8:55 AM

------------------------------

VA (MI) 5724
USM 08/06/13 9:55 AM
SIN 08/06/13 12:35 PM

VA (SQ) 5602
SIN 08/06/13 3:00 PM
HND 08/06/13 11:00 PM

------------------------------

VA (SQ) 5605
NRT 15/06/13 11:10 AM
SIN 15/06/13 5:30 PM

VA (SQ) 5515
SIN 15/06/13 8:15 PM
SYD 16/06/13 5:55 AM

This option does break the tickets at two places where you will be transiting for onward flights. So leave plenty of time between the TG/Bangkok Airways flights if you do go for this.

Agree this is important.

is this possible to get them link together after booking?

You can put a note in each booking to flag the other booking. But this doesn't protect you.

Having said that, if its a TG to TG mis-connect, they're likely to look after you.

YGPM.
