I've had a Citibank Business Visa card for coming to three years. I joined in part for the $1:1.25 points with the option of transferring points 1:1 to the QFF program (in batches of 5000 points from memory).

I was bored last night and reviewing the reward options and noticed that transfer to QFF is no longer an option.

From what I read, the only way to get points to QFF is to opt in to Citibank Qantas Rewards. And their T&Cs are as follows -

  • You must be a current Signature or Select cardholder
  • Call CitiPhone to request to switch to the Citibank Qantas Rewards Program
  • If you are not a current Signature or Select cardholder, you will need to upgrade[SUP]3[/SUP] before you are eligible to enrol in Citibank Qantas Rewards.

Did I miss a letter or notification that the Citibank Business Cards are dropping the QF Points Transfer option???

it's in blocks of 10k points, and you have to call up to do the transfer.

Citi has different T&C for points for every card.

Oh thanks Pu Koh.

I take back my cursing of Citibank from last night.

it still works I did it a few weeks ago after after hitting 10k points again - just ring them and they seem to always know its possible. the ts and cs are awful...

As mentioned transferring will be fine if you call them up. It might also be worth keeping an eye out on:

(Sorry, I don't have enough posts to properly post links.. but hopefully it's fine to change the http to hxxp given it's an AFF link!)

It will give you a good idea of what happens when they start to pull the card from the market which I'm sure they'll eventually do :(

Yes thanks to all who replied.

I currently follow the specified thread and its useful but I got worried when I didn't see the QF Points transfer listed as an option any more. I suddenly had a terrible sinking/shafted feeling. Hopefully we get plenty of notice should anything like this ever change.

My memory must be getting old as I swore that you used to be able to do the transfer online at one stage.
