Hello,
Having just hit Gold I was disappointed to learn I have to get another 1000SC to hit Platinum. Is this the norm? I thought I would just have to get another 500 within 6 months, as it only took 6 months from Silver to Gold.
I'm a miner and fly Brisbane - Mackay - Brisbane every 6 days with 10SC per flight. When I first got this job I would always seek out the cheapest carrier, but after seeing the relaxed faces of my work mates exiting the lounge on departure and arrival plus priority checkin at Brisbane (one morning I waited 45min in normal que) I decided to stick with Virgin. It took me just over 6 months to go from Silver to Gold now everything has been reset and I have 12 months to get 1000SC is this how it's meant to work?
i would have thought that as long as I get 1000SC within a 12 month period that I would qualify.
Am I being ripped off or is this normal, or has the new booking system stuffed up?
