VH-OQD cant close cargo door

Sitting here in the lounge at SYD and I must say I feel for the poor people on QF127, already an hour late, they are on board and that damn cargo door on VH-OQD just wont close.
Lots of engineers, one open door
looks like a long delay ahead.

Been told we'll be right in half an hour and its just a delay on paperwork...didn't know anything about an open door though!

Lots of engineers looking at that door, it is under 11K if you are up the front of J.

Apparently a van "bumped" it. We've been told that it's in a part of the plane that isn't usually allowed to be touched so they won't be repairing it until it arrives back in Syd. Just had another update..."getting closer" with the paperwork...must be the guy with the hammer!

Hate to tell you the doors still open and there is no 'TRACTOR" attached to the front of your plane to push you back.

More booze to Gate 24 !!!!!
