HHonors... who requalified?

Just ticked over to another year of HHonors diamond by the skin of my teeth. Would never have even started on it if not for velocity so i'm curious of those Velocity Golds and Plats who picked up a free HHonors status, who has managed to retain it throughout this calendar year?

I did it on stays (43) and points (101,018). I would have fallen short on nights (55)

The free Diamond HHonors status with Velocity was a real winner for me.

I'm at HSW doing a mattress run and will end up with 29 stays for the year. Thanks to DJ for their status match and giving me HHon Diamond.

I did book my four stays here in MEL before I knew I would be living here.

I got HHonors Gold from Virgin (yes, status matched) but I've managed to make Diamond with 110k odd points - mostly from the outrageous costs of accommodation in Perth.

Very clever. Now that I've been demoted to DJ Gold will I still get a status with Hilton? (I'll wait until April 2013 if I do).

Probably not but I am hoping to be able to status match to Gold one more time in a few months when my Diamond expires.

Only made it on points here. 16 stays, 44 nights but 119,960 points. Thanks to the DJ status match, HH's gain is PC's loss.

No idea to be honest. Got Diamond from DJ, stayed about 40 nights over 15 or so stays since. Is that likely to get me anything? Can't login to my account at the moment.

Got diamond via DJ match, anticipated travel did not happen, have managed to just requal as Gold (16 stays, just shy in terms of nights and points). Have enjoyed the benefits and as long as there are no significant 'enhancements' to the program will try and retain gold/re-attain diamond next year.

No status with DJ but made it to Gold first week of Jan so decided diamond was likely. Ended up with ~37 nights and 5 stays, but 140000 base points.

After my 2010 BiB Diamond (28 stays) expired at the end of March 2012 after 13 nights I used the Velocity match for Diamond 'till end March 2014 - will finish 2012 with 14 nights and just 17K base points.

Cheapest non award night was last week at HOP for a nett $75 (Maq disc. was applied, surprisingly).

Didn't need to re-qualify this year as was already Gold and took the VA freebie in January, thus have Diamond until end March 2014
This year 14 stays, 105K base points, so a win for Hilton thanks to VA

Was given HHonors Gold when I was Velocity Gold. After completing about 10 stays, HHonors upgraded me to Diamond (don't know why). My card shows it's valid to March 2014. Just qualified Velocity Platinum recently will save the upgrade until late 2013...

0 nights here (did about 20 last year, all under DJ Diamond offer).

Luckily the status runs out in Feb 2013, and I have a stay at a Hilton in Jan. One last hurrah.

(Same with Hyatt - Diamond until Feb and have a stay in Jan at the PH Sydney. Hoping for a nice upgrade (I know it won't be a suite) before I need to farewell Diamond. At least Hyatt have soft sendings, unlike HHonors!)
