Hello!

I have QF 93/107 - MEL/LAX/JFK and then QF94 LAX to MEL booked on J . ( March 2013)

Booked the tickets as NB. (Qantas sale)

Hit PS last week, but no change to seat availability when looking at seating map. I cant see anything forward of row 18.

Anyone got any idea what PS normally allows in terms of seating for J on QF93,94?

Is PS really no better than NB for selecting seats?

Or.. could this be because I booked the flight as NB, I need to request QF to remove and add FF# to update?

On another note - I have F requests in for 93/94 so hopefully it won't matter too much :p ... Do PS have any chance of F upgrades?

Oh also! F upgrades logged as NB, will they be assessed as PS or do I need to also have the FF removed and re-loaded to have them register as PS? HELP!

QF107 - have 3E/F booked.

Any feedback or info would be really helpful. Thanks!

Seat Selection is an interesting one. I wouldn't expect too much difference between NB and PS in the J Cabin.

They seats do open up closer to departure. There is a seat selection thread on here, so you may ask someone who can see the whole cabin to let you know what is available.

I never had to do this for my bookings on QF as I moved up the levels - but I did for other OW carriers. I suspect because you're in J the seat selection won't change much, but that if you were in Y you would have seen more rows open up to you.
