you might want to try priceline as well. The Hilton on Orchard Road regularly goes for about $100 (plus taxes) - I paid around $120 last time. Not sure what availability will be like over shristmas but worth trying.

Hi Bab,

Welcome to AFF. :D

The Conrad shows at $S206 ($A160) per night during Christmas.

I'm staying at the Conrad early Jan 2013. The pictures of the hotel look amazing. Do you have status? Free breakfast at the Conrad swung my vote their way! :)

I would go for the Conrad, it's an excellent hotel. The Hilton is, unfortunately, a little bit less so, although $100 is a great price. If you can get it that low and the Orchard Road location suits you, then that would be the way to go.

I was at the Hilton a month ago, great location and on the line. I had an renovated room, very pleasant.

Dpends where you want to be I guess

I find Agoda very good, being I believe Singapore based?

Yes it is & owned by Priceline.

Though Agoda can be slightly deceptive when not initially displaying total cost, & 'taxes" can bump the price upwards considerably.

More reliable than many others though :)

Yes agree, it the plus plus that can make you go ouch, however they are mostly all like that

Brand new hotel just opened ParkRoyal on Pickering. Anyone had the pleasure or heard from fellow travellers? Still deciding on my hotel stay.

Looks quite good. Excellent location too. Singapore could use a few more decent modern hotel options!

Agreed.. I'm still also deliberating for the next jaunt..Crowne Plaza, Conrad, Hilton, IC & now +1 Parkroyal..

Decided & booked.

6 night trip.....taking advantage of stay 3 pay 2 deal at Four Seasons (perfect for your midnight arrival)......then its over to the Fullerton Bay Hotel for the final three nights - really excited to see this baby:D
