canada prices

I'll be in Canada later this week. Does anyone know whether Canada is as cheap compared to Oz as the USA is. I'm just wondering whether to plan time for Xmas shopping.

Depends on where you are going, taxes vary depending on where you are. Quebec is probably the worst and we found very little differences in prices between the two countries after living there for the last year. Clothing was something we found good deals on. Also they don't display the price inc tax!

Clothes and Maple syrup, that's about it. Everything else is cheaper in the US!
