hi team
I expect to get my usa visa from us consulate in sydney in Dec.012..my question is can i travell to usa from thailand as i want to buy my return ticket from there as i will be in thailand for a couple of months...thanks in advance

Welcome to AFF, allen 123.

If you hold a valid visa for entry to the USA and meet its conditions of use (i.e. study, work, duration restrictions etc) then it makes no difference which you depart when entering the USA. The fact the visa is issued in Australia makes no difference to where you can purchase your ticket or how you travel to the USA.
